  I agree that having a conductor with our sort of group would look &lt;br&gt; rather pretentious, and anyway conducting is extremely difficult to &lt;br&gt; get right. Having a conductor also assumes that everyone would be &lt;br&gt; watching him/her. Perhaps developing good eye contact between &lt;br&gt; ourselves while playing would help.
