Urgent -Volunteers needed
for
CARRIFRAN VOLUNTEER SUNDAY
18th October
meet at 10am in the car park

THIS IS AN IMPORTANT VOLUNTEER DAY. We have 15,000 young trees to
plant during the autumn and spring season, and hope to plant around
half of them with volunteers - visiting groups, regular Tuesday
volunteers and those who come to help on the third Sunday of the
month. So please try to come this Sunday. Bring your lunch and
weatherproof working clothes and do some planting, either for the
whole or part of the day. There is plenty of opportunity to work low
down, and for the more energetic there is a chance to go up high and
to see how some of the highest planting in Scotland is progressing.

If you can't come this time, there will be another chance to come and
do some work on Sunday 15th November.

In any case, don't forget that you can now learn more about the whole
Carrifran project, from the first idea up to the present in:-
'The Carrifran Wildwood Story' by Myrtle and Philip Ashmole, published
in September by BFT. It costs £15 (or £25 Gift Aid price), plus £5
postage and at the moment is only available direct from Borders Forest
Trust. You can download an order form or buy online by visiting
www.bordersforesttrust.org
