Subject: New Zealand - Richard Weller
Hello
I am seeking any information on Richard Weller, a stud master who died
in 1932.  He is buried in Wellington.  Richard was brought up by his
aunts family (The Prossers) after his mother died whilst on a visit to
New Zealand.  He was born in Melbourne, Australia.
thanks you
B

Hi Beth,
I checked the Australian Genealogical Computer Index for WELLERs in
the Melbourne area in the likely time frame to have a son who died in
1932 (as you don't mention Richard's age.) There was a family in
Bellarine and one in St Kilda.  The A.G.C.I. has burials in Bellarine
of Ann 1875, Eliza 1876, Fred Louis 1875, Frederic 1887, John Henry
1901 and William 1910, and at St Kilda of Mahala Lois 1900, Joseph
1913 and Mary 1915.  I have borne in mind that Richard's father may
have outlived his wife for many years. It might be worth researching
these families to see if either had a Richard whose birth was
registered there.

Best wishes,
Richard
