I can be much help, if indeed I can help at all. Do you have a
forename? Or approximate date? Or place of residence in America?

You may well be right, but I am sorry to say that I do not know
whether the E. Weller you mention worked for the chairmakers B. North
in Wycombe, the subject of the photo. I only know that it is not my
grandfather Edward Weller, who had been a partner in the family
brewery and was long dead in 1937.

Interesting to see also the two Wellers in the group photos . Stephen is
likely to be the councillor and E Weller is likely to be born in High
Wycombe in 1851 ?

The 1861 enumerator's writing certainly leaves a lot to be desired.
The details for George Girdwood CHANNER could be: Head, Married, 50,
Colonel Bengal Artillery Retired, born Middlesex, Sutton, but I see in
the 1871 census he was ex Royal Artillery. In 1871 his birthplace is

In order to search the Berrick Salome parish registers themselves, I
think you would need to go to the Oxfordshire Archives. I am assuming
you are in UK. Check before you go that they do indeed have them, and

Hello everyone

I am a newbie to this group and great grandson of Florence Bessie
Weller (resident of Berrick Salome, Oxfordshire, England, b 1874).

I have seen the family tree on the Weller website and followed my
ancestros back to Richard Weller in 1542 but I am very keen to get
hold of copies of parish records etc. Can anyone help out?
