Buddha Shakyamuni Empowerment and teachings on devotion
with Gen Kelsang Pagpa at Vajravarahi Centre,

This is a special opportunity to receive the powerful blessings of the founder of Buddhism, Buddha Shakyamuni, in a special ritual ceremony.
The purpose for receiving the empowerment is to receive the special blessings of this Buddha onto our mental continuum so that our seeds of spiritual realizations are activated. Temporarily, these special blessings cause us to develop a peaceful and happy mind, and ultimately, they help us to make quick progress towards the attainment of enlightenment.
The empowerment is received by engaging in an uplifting visualisation for receiving the blessings of Buddha's body, speech and mind and is fully guided by Gen Pagpa. All you have to do is sit back and enjoy the experience. The empowerment is part of a weekend of teachings, the theme of which is devotion. Gen Pagpa will be giving teachings on how to devote ourself to spiritual practice and to the holy beings who embody the positive qualities of compassion, love and wisdom that we wish to develop.
If you are unable to attend the whole weekend of teachings, you are very welcome to attend the empowerment which will be held from 11am - 1pm on Saturday. A delicious vegetarian buffet lunch will be provided afterwards. Everyone is welcome, regardless of experience.
