Cut your emissions, don't offset them. A lot of carbon offsetting is
fraud - e.g. build a forest in Latvia and drive a 4X4 in Britain.
Instead, insulate the loft, turn off the lights, turn down the
heating, put on the sweaters, sell the4X4, travel to work by train/bus/
bike/foot (you might have to vote in a government that will
dramatically improve public transport), send the kids off to school by
train/bus/bike/foot, stop having 4 holiday a year on the Costas. And
then convince the Chinese and Indians not to follow the path that we
have already taken. Good luck!
