  Sorry for not being clear and inadvertently starting a debate over &lt;br&gt; wheelchair accommodations. &lt;br&gt; My question was specifically about the partition. It looks like it &lt;br&gt; sticks far enough out that, even when no wheelchairs are on the train, it &lt;br&gt; might impede passenger flow in the aisle. That&#39;s the issue I was trying

  I don&#39;t think that tip-up seats being sat in necessarily takes up more &lt;br&gt; space than people perching with their legs splayed to balance, &lt;br&gt; particularly when there are obstructions not allowing for the top half &lt;br&gt; of the body where a seat would be fine. &lt;br&gt; The trains on the Jubilee are a fine example of how to get everything
