BT 10 GB Monthly usage

Has anyone gone over this on their package and if so were the charges from
BT excessive. I have always been on unlimited so I have no idea what 10 GB
equates to in real terms. Is it relative to time spent online (I spend a
lot time online) or purely data. My usage is as follows
Online every night surfing, receiving and sending emails

That depends! The £9.79 assumes that you are an O2 mobile customer - it's
£14.68 if you're not. It also assumes that LLU is available at your
exchange. If it isn't, you'd have to have O2 Home Access instead - which is
£17.13 or £22.02, depending on whether or not you're an O2 mobile customer.

Just want to clarify with everyone that I have got this right. If I swap
from BT Broadband to O2 I will still have to pay Line Rental to BT. So in
essence my charges from O2 would be 9.79 for the Premium account plus the BT
Line Rental per month.

I checked the local exchange ( LUSDUL) and they don't have an LLU
prescence there so I guess that rules them out. Other wise they seem
very good.

telephone socket behind the TV itself...together with a spare rotator
control cable and multiple coax feeds...!

I started that way, it's now five ethernet and two telephone points. And
a media PC hasn't even been put there yet!

As far as I can tell they've reduced the likelihood of the hole being
exploited by setting default passwords remotely based on the modem
serial number. Whether you can read the modem serial number remotely

If so it sounds like the data connection to the 3G base station may not have

When they take up broadband for the first time or change ISPs they
automatically, without thinking, sign up for their ISP's email service and
tell their friends.
