Hi, I am about to reroute my sky HD cables. In one of my rooms I have a sky+ box just used to receive FTA channels with a freesat card. For future possibilities, can I lay twin cable to the sky+ box and just use one of the cable pairs to connect? If so can I just leave the other cable free standing... more »

Text / Red button not working on Sky+HD

Hi I've just noticed that the text / red button functions aren't working on my Sky+HD box. Can anyone recommend a fix for this? I've tried switching it off and unplugging it from the wall for 5 minutes but to no effect. I have the new EPG if that makes any difference. Hi Can anyone advise me on this? I've looked on the Sky website and either I'm missing something or it's not there! I currently have Sky+HD and take the movies, HD and the "mix" pack, paying £40-odd a month. Sadly due to a forced change in circumstances I'm going to have to downgrade in January when my 12 month contract is up.... more »

Hi all I have a tv link for my sky+ and it used to work great. For some starange reason it's decided to stop working. I've tested the tv eye by direct connection to the rf out of the sky+ box and it lights up ok. I'm therefore of the opinion that the cable is at fault. Hi all I have a portable sony tv in the bedroom with sky+ piped up from downstairs. Would be nice to use just the one remote (Sky+ one) to turn the volume up n donw on the telly. Any ideas how I go about this? TV is a Sony KDL20S3030

Hi Guys, Sky+ HD Thomson box: I am set to watch (any time every three hours over the next week or so ) tonight's live PPV from the WWE, "Survivor Series", at 1 am Monday.
