Freesat reminders problem
Recently my Bush SD Freesat box has been allowing fewer and fewer reminders to be set at once (intially 4 or so at once, none at all now!). Anyone else heard of such a problem, and/or suggest a solution (software upgrade? cold boot?). TIA for any ideas... Rob

Chips in Ford Car Radios, and Sky TV
A relative had their car, a Ford, broken into the other night and only the radio was stolen; nothing else was disturbed. Four other cars in nearby streets, all Fords, were also broken into on the same night and just the radios were stolen. The police said that Ford car radios have a chip in them which can be used to get Sky TV for free.... more »

Splitting signal behind the telly
I wasn't sure how to best describe what I need to do here. Basically I've built an HTPC to replace the DVD & freeview PVR to plug into my shiny new telly coming on Saturday. Currently the PVR's aerial out goes into the current telly so that its tuner can be used. The DVB-T card in the PC has no RF loop through, but I want an aerial... more »

iPlayer on Wii console
I saw some reports about iPlayer being available on the Nintendo Wii Platform.Last night I fired up the Wii to see if I could catch up with Top Gear. Picture is obviously lower quality than Freeview, but other than that it remained perfectly watchable with no obvious glitches. Saves me having to watch iPlayer on my laptop now and on My 42" Plasma... more »

Humax PVR oddity
I have a 9200T PVR and I run a Wii (using RGB) through the second SCART. This works fine most of the time and if the Humax is off, then the TV shows the Wii picture and gives Wii sound. But when the 9200T is doing a timed record (but still "off") I get picture but no sound. I can solve this by turning the Humax on, and using "Source"... more »

Best PVR for older/non-techie people
I'm hunting for a PVR suitable for older people (many of them aged 80+), who'll find timed-recording onto VHS difficult after switchover is completed here. As the unlucky owner of a Sagem 160GB PVR, which is probably the worst product I've ever owned and definitely not fit-for-purpose, my skepticism regarding... more »
