Not sure if this is of interest , but if anyone like me is doing bite size
peices of the Pennine way using public transport and found that the sction
from Keld to Middleton in teesdale is rather lacking they may be interested
in the following info, on wednesdays the return Classic Coaches trip from
Barnards Castle travels along the A66 and will stop if hailed, there is a
convienent layby where the Pennine Way crosses the A66. This would enable
the walker to start at either Keld or Middleton and finish on the A66, the
coach goes to both Kirkby Stepen town and the railway station, details at :-
