  BTW, it&#39;s not just 16-18 year olds that get checked. &lt;br&gt; CRB figures reveal 1,922 14 year olds were checked last year and 336 &lt;br&gt; children under 14. &lt;br&gt; Since 2002, 10,097 children aged 14 years old have been checked, 3,138 &lt;br&gt; aged under 14 and 29,722 aged 15. They are among three quarters of a &lt;br&gt; million under 18s to have been checked since the disclosure service

  Or maybe people are just slow! :-) &lt;br&gt; What exemptions for 16-18 year olds? &lt;br&gt; No they haven&#39;t! &lt;br&gt; And what has that got to do with scouting? &lt;br&gt; If you read things carefully you will see it relates to those 16-18 in &lt;br&gt; continuing education who are doing things such as work experience or &lt;br&gt; volunteering as part of their continuing education.

The rule has changed to &lt;br&gt; &amp;quot;must&amp;quot; from &amp;quot;should&amp;quot;, and they have confirmed that the wearing of &lt;br&gt; cycle helmets is mandatory [But...] A new version of POR will not &lt;br&gt; be issued until January 2010.
