Free heated vest

After deciding to finally go the Gortex route, once I had sampled the
cheaper HG own brand stuff, I failed to get any discount [1][2][3]. So I
opted for a free heated vest.
Maybe I should sign uo for the Dragon Rally ?
[1] They would only come down in price on the the day glow red jackets
that no one wanted.

OT: Autogas/LPG in France

automatically rules out the Chunnel but what's the availability like?

A hybrid bike will do over 200 mpg by having the shock absorbers &

Anyone know anything about these.
The one in SWMBO's Mazda 3 has allegedly gone titsup.com, and the
dealership want the thick end of £1500 to replace it.
The car seems to drive fine, just an annoying light on the dashboard. I
have counselled her to ignore the fucking thing unless it starts to
flash and stick a bit of black tape over the light in the meantime, but

FOAK: Chrome Plastic Inserts for Allen Head Bolts

I'm trying to source a supply of the plastic chrome inserts that press into &
blank off the top of an Allen head bolt. Same as is fitted to many bikes on
handlebar risers etc.
I can find them from motorcycle parts & accessory retailers but they seem to
want 50p - £2 each for them !
I can find them in any colour other than a chrome finish for 0.001p each.

FOAK: OT: Sony Digital Camera - W210 vs W220

Right, SWMBO wants a new compact digi camera for Chrimbo.
Budget up to £120 and has already ruled out the Canon Powershot a480,
Nikon Coolpix and Fujifilm equivalent.
So, now it's the Sony DSC W210 or 220, probably ruled out the 180
really as its not a carl zeiss lens, but a minolta one.
So, the only real difference other than the £20 price difference is

Given the beast a good run today. Adjusted the clutch, sorted a few bits &
bats. Got new front pipes & y piece for £80 brand new SS :)
Took it for a trail ride through the local woods etc, seems great if not a
bit heavy off road. Very nice & muddy now.
The only thing i have found that needs looking at is the choke/throttle
