Changeling. Hellbeans, that's a long film. They could cut 1/2 hr out of it or more and not lose any story. 8 out of 10 on IMDB, I give it 5 or 6 for being overlong and overblown. Good film though & well acted and directed.
How to Lose Friends & Alienate People. Well, i'm no great fan of Mr Pegg, I hated Hot Fuzz and was only barely amused by Shaun of the Dead. So I was well prepeared to hate this film. It wasn't actually that bad. IMDB gives 6 out of 10, I'll go 7 as I was surprised at how well it was acted, the casting was excellent, and Jeff Bridges acts his socks off (for a change) in this film.

On Friday watched "The Last King of Scotland". Really rather disturbing. F is still traumatised.
Just watched "Ray" (the Ray Charles biopic), starring Jamie Foxx. Absolutely fucking superb. -- Champ We declare that the splendor of the world has been enriched by a new beauty: the beauty of speed. ZX10R | Hayabusa | GPz750turbo neal at champ dot org dot uk

Has she watched "Passion of the Christ"? That was fucking awful. And in a completely different but still fucking awful way, I highly recommend "2012". To the fucking bin.

Wuss.
"In The Human Centipede, Dr. Heiter (Dieter Laser) is a leering, sepulchral surgeon from Germany whose specialty is separating Siamese twins. Dr. Heiter decides to evolve his craft by sewing together living beings together at the ?mucous-cutaneous zone? (guess) in order to create Siamese triplets with a single digestive system. After his experiment in creating a three-segment rottweiler (?a beautiful three- hound construction?) fails, Dr. Heiter tries again, shifting his attention to humans."
Just watched The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, which I quite liked. All about a man/boy who lives his life backwards. It's around 2.5 hours long, but a nicely told story.

I thought it was utter tripe and gave up after about an hour.

Tonight I went for "Defiance". Very gripping. Not your usual ghetto- busting epic.
Not as good as Schindlers list, but still a good watch. Based on a true story too.
