What time Nige? I'm meeting Ian and Jeweller at 7:45 at Whitefield (about 20 minutes tops from Hartshead. 8:15 or earlier?
Soz for the delay in answering, but it seems my news server was murdered to death by Virgin last night and they've replaced it with a reborn version today.

On the eastbound CW that is. It's 10m max to the junction & 5 mins to fill up. The depot is 2 mins from the petrol station.

Have they done something about their crappy news server? It's been dire since it moved from blueyonder.co.uk to virginmedia.com, then it suddenly got better in the last day or so. -- R.

So did I, but then I saw myself in the mirror and knew I had. The wife applied a poltice though, so I'm ok now.

I've not had much experience with the new "virginmedia" news server Rudy, but it seems a fair bit quicker than the older one and I only just got on it. I wasn't aware they were running two servers "side by side", but I was using news.cable.ntlblah blah before today.

I hope it's not dire in the future coz I've got used to having a trouble free (if sometimes a tad slow) server.
