What guarantee is there that the later train will actually be running or
that it will have empty seats or that it will have even the timetable
advertised number of carriages or for that matter will have the buffet?

How about comparing commuter services along the Trent Valley and into
Crewe with the off-peak south of Northampton? An equally meaningless

As the 19.15 is the first train to destinations north of Kettering on
the mainline where off-peak tickets are available (after the 16.25), I
can well imagine it still seems like rush hour. If you go by ticket
validity, then rush hour appears to last for two and a half hours, but

Works ok for me. I have OpenSUSE 11.2 with the additions from the Packman
