Could someone on the message board solve an interesting question. While discussing the north of London Eurostar sets that are currently on lease to the SNCF, a friend of mine claimed that they no longer have some of the fire safety equipment (cable protection etc) that they would require to travel through the channel tunnel? I'm considering buying a annual gold card for Sway-Southampton Airport. According to the National Rail site, price is £1588. But I noticed that in the destination box, as well as "Southampton Central" and "Southampton Airport", there is also "Southampton (All Stations)", which comes up with the same price as Southampton Central... more »
