Buxton 2009; personal thoughts.
Hi all, only just got my head `round this discussion group business ( confirmed IT Luddite ). Anyway, just to say what a great social event it was, me being a virgin ( honest! ), not really sure what to expect, etc. It reminded me in some ways of the better folk clubs I have attended but of... more »

Central London commuter-friendly acoustic open evening

I've booked the perfect venue: quiet upstairs bar, not too big, not too small. It's at the north end of Waterloo Bridge so ideal for those... more »

Adam Black D-18
Has anyone tried one of these. They are dreadnought acoustics with solid mahogoney back and sides and, a solid spruce top. Basically a Martin D-18 copy made in china and sold for around £400. Any good? Green
