I was there a couple of weekends ago (attending the final concert of Spanish
1960s group Los Jets). The Metro was pretty impressive - anywhere you like
for 1 Euro (except the airport, which costs 2 Euros). I took the train to Las
Ventas to see the Plaza de Toros (first time I've ever seen a real bullring).

It seems the HB version is just a 'dummy'. Both versions allow the 'driver
transducer' to work as an *active* pickup when not being used in sustainer
mode. There is the 'C' model which vibrates the headstock and may be more
suitable for acoustic instruments, but the wiring is a bit naff, unless you

IIRC the Fernandes unit is the older Sustainiac, but Sustainiac make other
smaller units which will fit in the control cavity. AFAIK you need a pickup,
usually bridge, away from the 'generator' 'pickup' usually the neck pickup.
They do a HB which includes the generator switchable as a normal HB or the

The truss rod cover and logo match the FR-75T from 1992 but yours has
the sustainer, 2 single coils and a better trem so I'm guessing its a
1992 FR-xxS
