  I can see the point of doing it once after the period when the neck and body &lt;br&gt; woods have settled down, or if you&#39;ve accidentaly knocked it and the neck is &lt;br&gt; slightly off axis but I wouldn&#39;t have thought it was a good idea to do it on &lt;br&gt; every restring. They&#39;re still wood screws after all and each slack/tighten

  I don&#39;t know but PMT in Salford might be your best bet? The Champ 600 is on &lt;br&gt; their website for £119. &lt;br&gt; Dawsons have it for £145. &lt;br&gt; Steve.

  I returned a little Vox too....totally unusable based on the level of noise. &lt;br&gt; My big Vox (a 2002 AD120VT) has no such problems..... &lt;br&gt; NB

  Thanks - I&#39;ve had a look at the Superchamp XD and it seems to be a &lt;br&gt; cracking little amp, but I&#39;m after something with no DSP stuff onboard, &lt;br&gt; just as direct a connection as possible between my fingers and the &lt;br&gt; speaker. Oh, and it has to be valve powered :) &lt;br&gt; The Champ seems to fit the bill - I&#39;m not expecting it to compete with a
