Actually banjimers do exist and there are plenty of photos on the WWW to prove it (mine is called a banjammer and I got it shipped from Tennessee). Basically they are a dulcimer with a banjo head set under the bridge and unless you stuff a convenient bar towel under the open banjo head they really can be noisier and more annoying than either a banjo or a bohran - great fun; transforms a dulcimer into "can't hear the thing" to drowning out anything in the same room.!!!!! 8^)
