The Archers update, probably by Susan Jeffreys, from the Daily Mail's
Weekend magazine:
The rain drips off the horrible, waxy leaves as the car crunches up
gravel path taking Jack to his new home, The Laurels. Don't go, Jack!
Don't go! Remember how Marjorie Antrobus and Pru Forrest disappeared
into profound silence, once those gloomy portals banged shut behind

Lillian seemed a bit slow on the uptake when visiting Matt, I thought.
He's going to have to spell it out to her:
1/ Getting out early depends on staying out of trouble.
2/ Staying out of trouble means not being in a fight, not just not
starting one.
3/ Avoiding a fight requires keeping your head down, being normal,

The search on my laptop at school has been behaving strangely. If I
put in the name of a file, it presents me with every file in that
directory. If I add some words that are in that file (in my job, as
likely as not it's song words) it still can't find the one I want, but
finds a few others that contain something like it.
