The rafters are fixed to the wall plate and must go through the outer brickwork so they protrude beyond a couple inches or cm. The rafter ends are then cut flush with the out side wall. This is to enable the top tile to fit right under the roll of the mono ridge. A lath or board is fixed to the outer wall in line with the screw holes in the mono ridge. Screws are not tightened up, as this will disturb the mortar. You must Sign in before you can post messages.
