RCD tripping - intermittent fault finding.

My sister has an intermittent fault with her electrics that trips the
RCD. We're think that the fault is with the ground floor ring as it
sometimes trips when the kettle is plugged in but more usually does it
all on its own.
The RCD is on the upstairs and downstairs power but not the lighting.

Normally coal ash isn't recommended for composting - I presume to heavy
metals that may be present (eg Hg).
Anyone know the specifics of anthracite in contrast? Suitable or not for the

OT T reg Escort will not start

Relatives under serviced basic petrol T reg Escort starts sometimes but
not others. Not seen it yet. Apparently turns over and sometimes catches

CH boiler starts but stops

I have a Baxi Bahama 100 CH combi boiler.
Last week I selected manual on, and the pump started, then it fired up
.. all sounded fine.
It ran for 10 secs and then shut down. No warning lights .. all looked
