My new iPhone and I are getting along great until finally I download a ringtone and I have no clue how to get it on to my phone as a ringtone and not as a song! I read the manual and I found the "create a ringtone" portion of the .pdf manual too and it provided me with instructions. They don't make any sense. Changing Finder's "clever" sort ordering for numbers

I've only just noticed that Finder (10.5.5) has the same bloody horrible habit as Windows Explorer of trying to be clever about ordering files whos names start with numerals. Eg 0000 1 0000001-a 1d 1f 002 2a 003 10 001000 1970 011111 and it's rubbish, so I'd like to turn it off. Can it be done? Cheers - Jaimie... more »

Problems downloading FStream

I have tried to download this radio player many times to no avail: <[link]> Tried different sites, browsers, but every time the download cuts off between 2.5 and 3 MB and leaves me with a corrupted disk image. Does that work for anyone?

apple has a tendecy to update the 15 before the 17 don,t they? I'm thinking of a new lappy as my old power book is old and fairly battered. How long after do they normaly update the line any one rember? Roger
