Glasgow to Turin by bike
From 5th to 19th July we are cycling between the twin cities of Glasgow and Turin to raise money for Cystic Fibrosis. That's 1116 km through Scotland, Belgium, France, Switzerland and Italy crossing the Alps over the 2469m St Bernard's pass. The inspiration for this trip is nine year old Abigail who lives with CF. In addition to frequent visits to hospital for intra venous injections, she requires twice daily physiotherapy sessions and medication to help her in her fight against CF. Grandad Donald and Auntie Laura along with four friends will be making this trip to raise money for CF. In a forerunner to the main event Abigail's dad Christopher joined Donald in a 370 Km cycle at the end of May joining the northern sites of BAE systems from Barrow in Furness, Govan in Glasgow to Babcock's Rosyth Dockyard in Fife. Christopher is an engineer with Jacobs which has a close involvement with BAE systems in Barrow. Please help us find a cure for this the most common hereditary, progressive and life threatening disease. Home Team members Itinerary Photo Gallery Company Sponsorship All money raised goes to CF
