I'm also a Qt fan.
I heard you and MattJ are making a great team now, please keep that up :).
I can't wait to use Tessa IM, nor can I wait till I start developing for it!

As I see it, Tessa's default wxWidgets interface will:
- be light but extensible;
- integrate well with the desktop (using the common GTK+/Win32/Cocoa look);
- use common GUI features like a main menu.

Hi all,
The Tessa project kind of fell silent recently (ok, not so recently).
Mostly to blame was my time being diverted to first Google Summer of
Code, and then other work since.
The project is FAR from dead however!
Some of you may/may not already know that we have a new developer,
Sander (sq89). Sander was originally developing a client of his own

Thanks Felix. You are right. The spirals make it complicated. I think
I will remove one of them. Applying clipping would be a little bit
easier.
Should I remove them all? I don't think I should modify the logo too
much. The design on paper looks perfect. The problem is putting it on
vectors. :)

v-tessa-3.svg is still a WIP preview.
I uploaded the svg so that maybe someone could take the work further
and upload it back here.
The final logo should be released under (CC) I believe.

During the past 2 weeks I had a lot of "visions" of the Tessa logo.
There is *one* that I liked especially, and I've uploaded an image.
Beware, it's a WIP.
It's in the Files section, v-tessa-2.png.
The top is meant to look like a crown (upside-down) but I still
haven't gotten good at colouring in SVGs.

I have not read v3. Should probably do so. And I agree with Paul: we
should discuss it in detail.
I think closed source plugins should be allowed. I would like to know
if the GPL would by default restrict to using only GPL plugins, or

that I use or have been distributed. It makes me **mad** to think that
