Subject: Who is Barack Obama? Why has he appointed people whose loyalties have not been proven?
As I browse the internet lately, I noticed a lot of questions from
American sites asking who Barack Obama really is. I realise he is
making attempts to appease the Islamic world, based on his knowledge
of Islam and his upbringing in Indonesia. But he is appointing several
Muslims to his staff with extraordinary influence on international
policies. Is it the right direction for America or is Obama putting
America at greater risks? The following are some of Obama's
appointments to his government.

"(1)Written by Vincent Gioia
SUNDAY, 20 SEPTEMBER 2009 11:35

Purported non Muslim Barack Hussein Obama made a presidential
appointment of "Muslim Los Angeles Deputy Mayor Arif Alikhan for a
top
job at the federal Department of Homeland Security." In his new job
Arif Alikhan will be "Assistant Secretary for the Office of Policy
Development at the Department of Homeland Security."

Alikhan has been Deputy Mayor of Los Angeles - in charge of public
safety for the city. Why Muslim Alikhan at the Department of Homeland
Security you might ask? DHS Secretary Janet Napolitano said Alikhan's
"broad and impressive array of experience in national security,
emergency
preparedness and counterterrorism will make him an asset" - yes, but
on behalf of the US or Muslims? I am not sure what she is talking
about and she probably doesn't know either.

Muslim Democrats welcomed Alikhan's appointment at a banquet/
fundraiser for the Islamic Shura Council of Southern California
recently where the first speaker was Arif Alikhan, a devout Sunni and
the son of Pakistani immigrants,

Other speakers included Professor Agha Saeed of the American Muslim
Task Force (AMT) who spoke about "the struggle of the Muslim
Community
against the pervasive atmosphere of Islamophobia and hatred in the
aftermath of 9/11.. It was a struggle against the tide - a very
strong
tide - to prevent Muslims in America from being marginalized and
silenced."

Professor Saeed issued five demands from Muslims to the Department of
Justice. These demands included a cessation to the infiltration by
spies of mosques and an end to the introduction of agents
provocateur.
In addition there was to be a cessation of attempts to undermine
Muslim groups such as the Council on American Islamic Relations
(CAIR). Un-indicted co-conspirator CAIR was thrilled at the
appointment:

(2) Last week, Napolitano swore in "Damascus-born Kareem Shora," the
American-Arab Anti-Discrimination Committee (ADC)'s national
executive
director, to a position on "the Homeland Security Advisory Council,"
an outside-the-department group of national security experts that
advises the Secretary. Shora is the first Arab rights advocate on the
panel. Shora has with ties to terror backers

(3) August 1, 2008 - San Francisco, CA - PipeLineNews.org - In a
desperate attempt to win Muslim votes and to overcome a recent PR
debacle - a June 16 Barack Obama rally in Detroit during which the
campaign moved two women who were wearing hijab so they would not
appear in images featuring the candidate - his campaign has announced
the appointment of a "liaison" to the Arab and Muslim community,
Mazen
Asbahi.

Asbahi's Islamist credentials are reflected by the enthusiasm with
which the news was greeted by American Islamists, including the
Muslim
Public Affairs Council [MPAC] which stated:

"Mr. Asbahi will further the Obama campaigns outreach efforts and
participation of the Muslim American community…MPAC is confident that
Mr. Asbahi will encourage Muslim Americans to be civically
engaged." [source, http://www.mpac.org/article.php?id=673]

Understanding MPAC's MO, "Civically engaged" should be interpreted as
a euphemism for implementing shari'a; the organization's goals having
been characterized by Dr. Daniel Pipes as:
"Impeding counterterrorism efforts and forwarding an Islamist vision
of America..." [source, http://www.danielpipes.org/blog/2004/07/the-difference-between-cair-a...]

The appointment of Mazen Asbahi to be Obama's liason to Arab and
Muslims is another indication of Obama's worrying associations. With
Islamist Asbahi at the helm of the campaign's outreach effort to
Muslims it is clear that an Obama presidency would give groups like
MPAC and ISNA intimate access to key government decision makers and
bring the "United States of Allah," one step closer to reality .

(4) Obama has appointed Dalia Mogahed to his Advisory Council on
Faith-
Based and Neighborhood Partnerships. Mogahed is a senior analyst and
executive director for the Gallup Center for Muslim Studies. She is
hailed by the left-wing media as a “moderate” voice on relations
between the U.S. and Islam.

The Times quotes Mogahed’s views on the change that she wants to see
in U.S./Muslim relations:
“My work focuses on studying Muslims, the way they think and their
views,” Mogahed was quoted as saying on the website of the Saudi-
owned
Al Arabiya satellite news channel. “Then I should tell the president
about their problems and needs, especially that lately Muslims have
been perceived as a source of problems and as incapable of taking
part
in solving international problems and that they should work on
themselves. Now we want to say that Muslims are capable of providing
solutions.”

Unfortunately, this is all meaningless rhetoric because no such
“solutions” have been forthcoming from any corner of Islam despite
Mogahed’s airy claims that they are.

Mogahed is part of an organization that is a supporter of engagement
with the jihadist Muslim Brotherhood, a group whose stated purpose is
to destroy the west. The Muslim Brotherhood sees its mission as, "a
kind of grand Jihad in eliminating and destroying the Western
civilization from within and 'sabotaging' its miserable house by
their
hands and the hands of the believers so that it is eliminated and
God's religion is made victorious over all other religions."

The Egyptian-born American who heads the Gallup American Center for
Muslim Studies, a non-governmental research center providing data-
driven analysis on the views of Muslim populations around the world,
became the first Muslim veiled woman to be appointed to a position in
the White House.

(5) The choice of Farah Pandith to serve as Secretary of State
Hillary
Clinton’s "special representative to Muslim communities" was
disclosed
in an internal memo to State Department employees dated on Tuesday.
Obama has made improving U.S. relations with Muslims around the world
a signature theme of his presidency.

Asked why the State Department had not formally announced Pandith’s
appointment, Kelly noted it had been disclosed in an internal memo.
When a reporter suggested there might be broader interest in the fact
among Muslims worldwide, he replied, "Fair point."

Kelly said he could not say whether Pandith was a Muslim, although
two
U.S. officials said privately that they believed she was. Pandith was
not immediately available for comment.

Farah Pandith (born on January 13, 1968 in Srinagar, Kashmir, India)
is currently the Special Representative to Muslim Communities for the
United States Department of State. She was appointed to this position
on June 23, 2009 by Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton, and
sworn in by Secretary Clinton at a ceremony at the State Department
on
September 15, 2009.

(6) Barack Obama has appointed Harry Knox to his Advisory Council on
Faith-Based and Neighborhood Partnerships, a group started by former
President George W. Bush.  Obama's connections to far left, pro-
abortion, pro-gay, pro-Islam, pro-Palestinian groups is well known.
What seems over-the-top is not just Obama's connections to and
support
from these groups is the intentional pursuit of individuals from
groups like the Muslim Brotherhood and Obama putting them in key
positions in his administration and important agencies.

One interesting connection is Dr. John Esposito, a long time defender
of the Muslim Brotherhood  and the head of the Saudi-financed
Georgetown University Prince Alwaleed bin Talal Center for Muslim-
Christian Understanding at the Walsh School of Foreign Service and
denier of radical Islam.  The Muslim Brotherhood has many umbrella
groups, all which want to wipe out America as we know her and
establish a Muslim caliphate with sharia law ruling.

[snip]   Dr. Esposito has at least a dozen past or present
affiliations with global Muslim Brotherhood/Hamas organizations
including having served on the advisory boards of the Institute of
Islamic Political Thought in the U.K. and the United Association for
Studies and Research in the U.S. and has served with global Muslim
Brotherhood leader Youssef Qaradawi on the Steering Committee of the
Circle of Tradition and Progress. In 2005, Saudi prince Alaweed bin
Talal, a financial supporter of the global Muslim Brotherhood donated
$20 million to the Center for Muslim Christian Understanding at
Georgetown, headed by Dr. Esposito. Despite these many ties to the
global Brotherhood, Dr. Esposito claimed significant gaps in his
knowledge about the Brotherhood while testifying in the retrial of
the
Holy Land Foundation terrorism financing case.  (Family Security
Matters)

Why aren't the rest of America aware of what Obama is doing to
America?

Cheech, I have only found 6 appoints of Muslim in the government. I am
sure there are many more things Obama has done to give more power to
the American Muslims. It is a very dangerous game to play. It is
irreversible.

It's not on main stream news, so many are not aware of the
appointments which do not warrant a nomination process.

It is, indeed, irreversible, and by the time the country is aware, it
will be too late.  Even now MSNBC is very pro-Obama and I have about
given up on them as a news channel, other than Shepard Smith  I can't
watch Fox news at all -- it's become a party political broadcast
between those two channels.

yD, "It's not on main stream news, so many are not aware of the

It is strange yD, you are about the 3rd American to have said this to
me. "That you were not aware of such appointments."

So they were "stealth appointments." That is why I ask again, "What
are Obama's true colours?" Something to watch very closely.

I don't know that I would consider them "stealth" appointments --
simply positions which do not need Senate confirmation.  Christians,
Jews, Muslims, secular humanists and all the rest are appointed.
I came across this article, and responses, which I thought you might
find interesting.
