Drop into the writers room to write, add to the wall of words, meet other playwrights and those working with them.
Opportunity for writers to lead discussions, meet other writers, offer their own discussion topics.
 
SHADOW WRITERS SESSION
Monday 29th September 2pm -6pm
A three-hour workshop with the shadow writers to explore their experience of creating and writing for the festival. Led by Sarah Dickenson (invitation only).
 
INTRODUCTION TO PLAYWRITING WORKSHOP
Four hour workshop for anyone who would like to have a go at writing a play themed with ideas of the festival. Led by playwright and dramaturg David Lane.

An opportunity to meet the playwrights and artists commissioned to create work for the Festival, and to uncover the processes they followed in their collaborations.
 
SOUTH WEST NEW WRITING NETWORK MEETING
Thursday 2nd October 2.30-5.30 pm Royal William Yard
A three hour meeting and network session for playwrights and producers from around the region, bringing discussion around regional new writing to the very heart of the festival.

GETTING TO WHERE YOU WANT TO BE WORKSHOP
In association with literaturetraining
Friday 3rd October 10.30 – 1.30pm
'Getting to where you want to be' workshop' using exercises from literaturetraining’s DIY guide to professional development planning, for playwrights (and possibly spoken word artists i.e. anyone who writes for performance). Led by Victoria Field.
