24:7 Theatre Festival Call for Scripts

The 24:7 Theatre Festival "Britain's most exciting grassroots festival of new work" (Manchester Evening News) will shortly be accepting submissions for the 2010 Festival.

The seventh annual Festival will run from 26th July to the 1st August 2010, at New Century House, Manchester - home of our sponsor, The Co-operative Group.

If you fancy an alternative festive theatre experience, look no further than Vixens in the Wood on at the Royal Vauxhall Tavern in London town.

Penned by southwest playwright Natalie McGrath it will be an evening of cabaret hosted by a group of Vixens who have escaped from the Vauxhall Pleasure Gardens and then moving into a pant o with much silliness and thigh slapping entertainment!

CAKE An invitation to playwrights in the south-west.

CAKE is a monthly play-reading group based in Cornwall that invites playwrights to submit new writing/work in progress for a reading.

CAKE is made up of experienced playwrights and actors. Over the past 6 months, the group has read stage and radio plays by a number of playwrights based in the south-west. Writers have found the feedback from this group very useful.
