Welcome to the group for the South West New Writing Network!

 

The South West New Writing Network is a network of writers and producers from throughout the South West region. We meet quarterly in different parts of the South West to update each other on what we’re doing, network, and discuss emerging issues. In addition, the network supports local initiatives and offers wider professional development opportunities for playwrights and those working with them. The next phase of the project will run throughout 2008. More details to follow.

Throughout 2008 the SWNWN was run in a partnership between writernet and Theatre South West.

Since the conclusion of that project in March 2009, the network is now being run by its members, with administrative support from Hall for Cornwall.
