I wanted to get in touch and let you know about a Coffeehouse Challenge
event that BBC Action Network is hosting in London in partnership with
the RSA. The topic for discussion is 'How can communities protect
much-loved sports and leisure facilities?'

Time: 6.30-9.30pm
Venue: National Gallery Café, St Martin's Lane Entrance, London WC2N

Drinks and refreshments will be provided.

The Coffeehouse Challenge discussion in London is part of a national
initiative that started life in 2004 and brings people from all parts
of the community together to discuss the issues that matter to them and
bring about change in their local area. The informal discussions are
attended by local people and take place in a coffeehouse.  Starbucks
are providing £10,000 in awards for some of the best ideas generated
from discussions to help them get off the ground. The event will be
facilitated by Polly Billington, a reporter on the BBC's Today
programme.
