Subject: Travel Allowance
Guys...

Helen (PM at Caxton) has been doing some digging around.  The
allowance has not been totally lost. There is a small amount which
should be received for using your car to get to work and home. Also
there should be a certain amount you get for miles covered during home
visits.  Previously we used to get a set amount of around £375 which
was taxed. At present the allowance you claim plus mileage IS NOT
TAXED. Its not quite in the same league as what we used to get, but
its better than nothing at all.

Guys... I think we all know to varying degrees that we have been
shafted. My PM has very kindly given me copies of emails where
Wilkinson states (and I quote), that agreeing with us that our pay
should be protected was "a rouse".  Lets face it... we have been had.
I am just grateful Helen is going out of her way to find any loopholes
she can... and whatever she tells me.. I shall be sure to pass on to
all of you.

Raj
