Subject: Multiple output files from a singe StaticMatic page?
Hello,

Is there a way to obtain multiple output files from a single
StaticMatic page?
I did not found the way, however in my opinion this would be a very
nice feature to add to this nice project.

For example, if I have a section of my website grouping a number of
similar pages, it would be great to define a single StaticMatic page,
and a number of variables from which calculate different compiled
pages.

A similar project, Webby, handles this case (http://
webby.rubyforge.org/release-notes/rel-0-9-1/) but personally I don't
like the way it does this.

It would be great to have an external yaml file containing all the
variations we want to produce starting from the master page, with an
elegant naming convenction (say, the page is "products.haml" and its
source file containing the variations "products.yaml" or similar...).

I'm sure this would bring lots of flexibility.

What do you think?

Kind regards,

Vincenzo Acinapura
