1871 Margaret Hutchings was at school and boarding with her uncle Arthur Petherick, farmer 10a b Abbots Bickington, Devon c1811, living at Higher Wheaton [Farm?] in the parish of Northlew near Okehampton.
1871 William and Dorcas Hutchings were still in Thornbury, at Ley Farm, he a farmer of 50a employing 1 ag lab, born Thornbury c1835, she born Hartland c1828 as you say. There are also two more daughters Ann aged 9 and Emily aged 6, both born Thornbury, and a 'lodger' William Petherick (Dorcas's father?), who is blind, an annuitant and born Abbots Bickington c1796
