  Look in the Options tab of Sloppy to see what port is used. Say its &lt;br&gt; 1234. Then press Gonad normal (you&#39;ll get the error) but start you &lt;br&gt; browser manually and enter the address of &lt;a target=&quot;_blank&quot; rel=nofollow href=&quot;http://localhost:1234/-replacing&quot;&gt;[link]&lt;/a&gt; &lt;br&gt; the 1234 with whatever the port number was in the Options tab. That is &lt;br&gt; effectively what Sloppy does when it tries to start your web

  I would say the typical broadband speeds would be great. I don&#39;t know &lt;br&gt; exactly how you have the settings now (like what 56k breaks down to). &lt;br&gt; Also i&#39;m sure that &amp;quot;typical&amp;quot; broadband is different for you in the &lt;br&gt; UK. :) &lt;br&gt; &lt;p&gt;In the US i would say these are the most common speeds (including dial- &lt;br&gt; up): &lt;br&gt; 28.8Kb

  Sounds like a good idea. Let me know what speeds would be useful to &lt;br&gt; you, and I can maybe add those in quickly, and then look at some kind &lt;br&gt; of modification to allow you to pick &amp;quot;Other...&amp;quot; from the drop down &lt;br&gt; list to set an arbitrary speed. &lt;br&gt; Thanks for the suggestion &lt;br&gt; Richard

  I&#39;ve been using sloppy for flash testing (it works great for FLVs). &lt;br&gt; However i was wondering if you could add more download speeds to &lt;br&gt; sloppy. I&#39;m targeting broadband users so i would like to be able to &lt;br&gt; compare the difference between DSL and cable. In fact it would be &lt;br&gt; great to have a custom entry into the download speed as well!

  Hi Sherri &lt;br&gt; Clicking Go should open up your default web browser and show you a &lt;br&gt; site, slowed down. &lt;br&gt; On your machine it looks as if your html editor has become the default &lt;br&gt; application for these kinds of things. &lt;br&gt; There are two things you can do: &lt;br&gt; 1) Find a way to prevent your html editor from being the default

  Not sure exactly what clicking Go should do but on my machine - PC - &lt;br&gt; it is opening a blank page in my html editor rather than doing what &lt;br&gt; I&#39;d expect which is opening a browser of some type. I assume that this &lt;br&gt; is something I&#39;ve set up Windows to do but not sure what I need to &lt;br&gt; undo/edit in order to get Sloppy working properly.

  I&#39;ve had a similar report for BASIC authentication too: &lt;br&gt; It seems to effect Sloppy running on Windows. In this case it the &lt;br&gt; authentication required claims to be &amp;quot;Authentication scheme: &lt;br&gt; Integrated Windows&amp;quot;.   I just ran the jnlp link, and entered a URL that requires digest &lt;br&gt; authentication. The dialg box popped up, but I could not focus on the &lt;br&gt; text boxes, or click any buttons. &lt;br&gt; I couldn&#39;t even close sloppy - it wouldn&#39;t respond to clicks. &lt;br&gt; I had to xkill it.
