We repacked a few reserves yesterday but something came up that ought to be
checked:

One reserve was front-mounted in a Supair cockpit. Within the parachute
compartment was some velcro. Some of the exposed lines caught on this and made
deployment hard as well as causing some fraying of the lines as they came off
the velcro.

We were able to cover the velcro in the cockpit but if you have this type of
reserve-mounting sysyem (and I know its quite popular with lightweight rigs)
then maybe you ought to check for this problem.
