Subject: X-Scotia on TV

Dear All

X-Scotia is scheduled for screening in next weeks BBC 2 Scotland Adventure
Show on Sunday 31 August from 1800 - 1900 .

In this weeks show are:-

Highland Cross

Held annually since 1983, the Highland Cross starts at Kintail on the west
with a 20 mile run over the hills to Glen Affric. Then it's into the saddle
for competitors who have 30 miles to cycle to reach Beauly in the east.

X-Scotia paragliding

Also in this month's programme we'll be taking to the air for the inaugural
X-Scotia paragliding competition.

To the hills with Cameron McNeish

Heading into the mountains with hill walking expert Cameron McNeish

Footwear on trial

Chris Townsend finds out what's the best footwear for that day in the hills.

BBC TWO Scotland can also be viewed on Sky Channel 990, making The Adventure
Show accessible to viewers living elsewhere in the UK.
