All,
We will hold the AHPC round of the Nationals this weekend as planned.
Based at Braemar rather than Aboyne as Big Bad Bob is going to Spain so
won't
be there to look after us at the Glding Club.
Major Simon has a house in Braemar which sleeps 6 in beds (most taken I
think), has floor space and room in the garden for half a dozen tents.

 Hi!

I’m a French student just arrived in Edinburgh. I practice paragliding
for about 4 years. I have the autonomous pilot's licence from the Free
Fly French Federation. I brought all my materials with me. I’m looking
for local pilots to fly with and shared petrol expenses because I
don’t have my own car here. As a student I have a lot of free time so

Apparently the French say "Champagne should be drunk straight from a beautiful lady's slipper", but failing that you could share a "boot full of beer" with Cliff.
No offence Cliff, but somehow it doesn't have the same appeal.
I can offer a loan of a Y bridle, but that may be of little use to you, as all my kit is in Aberdeen.

On behalf of George - Early Warning !
This weekend will be the rescheduled date for the LLSC round of the Nationals. The forecast is good for flying at Tinto both Saturday and Sunday. This is a great opportunity for everyone who has done less flying than they'd have liked during our unusual summer, to get some good flying before it becomes seriously autumn. Especially our new members who haven;t had much chance to meet up with everyone.

 Hi All,
Tommy asked me to provide directions for those who require them. There is a better copy as a pdf attachment for printing.
Just a reminder -
Make sure you have sufficient Fuel, Food, alcohol and Water for the weekend.
There is water available from the river but the taste can be variable. It would be better to bring your own.

 HI Folks,
Sunday looked much more promising so after a debrief to chat about lessons learned on Saturday we headed along to Broughton. Wind on the hill was light WSW but it was expected to back and increase during the day, so we had a number of tricky considerations in setting the task - ( How to spread 100 gliders along the Broughton ridge, how to avoid the Edinburgh airspace, and how to get everyone away before it got too windy !) . A Race task to Lauder via Peebles, with a pre start turnpoint at the S end of the ridge.

Is any one from Edinburgh going to Aberdeen or anyone from Aberdeen going to
be in Edinburgh over the next few days?
I have a Sup Air Alti Rando that needs to be delivered to Scott Mather and a
pair of walking poles for Scott Rigg (prize from the X-Scotia).
If anyone is able to oblige that would be really helpful.
