  Cool, I plan on being there this time at long last :) &lt;br&gt; &lt;p&gt;I got a Mindstorms kit for Christmas so it would be cool to play with &lt;br&gt; it. Any of you used it to make a cool project? &lt;br&gt; &lt;p&gt;I&#39;m also interested in helping with your online db idea. I will post &lt;br&gt; any more concrete ideas I have in the next few days...

  I&#39;ve got some conductive paint, conductive pen/ink, conductive thread &lt;br&gt; and some copper tape which you are very welcome to play with. None of &lt;br&gt; them are great to work with really in my experience, but just about &lt;br&gt; pass for what they say on the tin at best. &lt;br&gt; &lt;p&gt;simon

  Good idea! &lt;br&gt; &lt;p&gt;But I don&#39;t want the mBed exposed to the elements - so I think I&#39;ll &lt;br&gt; put it inside a rain-proof plastic box (Fererro Roche?). Maybe elastic &lt;br&gt; bands to keep the lid on when cycling. &lt;br&gt; &lt;p&gt;Oh - and I should get a Zero-Insertion-Force socket for the mBed so I &lt;br&gt; can mount it to some breakboard. Breadboard seems a little too big ..

  I&#39;ll be coming! &lt;br&gt; &lt;p&gt;Still working on my cycling computer. I want to play with the new mBed &lt;br&gt; timer API and logging data to RAM, and then downloading it to my PC &lt;br&gt; for graphing. If this is as striaght forward as I hope it will be, I &lt;br&gt; then want to play with battery-backup of the mBed&#39;s RAM so I can &lt;br&gt; download my log at leisure (i.e. every few days).

  Just realised the Sat 22nd is this weekend! Time flies... &lt;br&gt; &lt;p&gt;Hopefully people are still up for SHDC! Please confirm to me if you &lt;br&gt; are coming, and perhaps post an idea of what you might be up to if you &lt;br&gt; know. &lt;br&gt; &lt;p&gt;I think i&#39;ll be pimping a big trak, and maybe seeing if an old bike &lt;br&gt; frame is capable of being rescued.
