Hi to all - the SHDC sounds like my kind of fun - I'll try to get to
the next meeting.

I have a collection of tools that might be useful - ask if you need
help with anything. (Things like a mixed signal digital scope, that
also does I2C analysis - signal generators, spectrum analyser and so
on - also a workshop with lathe and CNC mill - even an infra red
soldering gun that is really handy for removing those 200 pin
packages)

My interests are many and varied - usually too varied, given my
attention span - still, fun comes first ...

An infra-red soldering fun? Wow. I've never even heard of such things.
Sounds like you have a pretty impressive workshop - what sort of
things have you built? (Just curious!)
