Considering that schools are enterprise users when it comes to

Manual for teachers

Hi all,
One of the things we are funded to do for the INGOT EU transfer of
innovation project is produce a manual on Open Source/Open Systems for
teachers. If anyone has any ideas for chapters, topics etc I'll pass
them on to the Bulgarian partner who is managing that part of the
project.
Anyone going to Open World Forum in Paris? 1st/2nd October?

Ramesys used to be called the Database. In Nottingham and were very
Microsoft orientated. Might have changed. Quite expensive, I don't think
they ever won any of the tenders I was dealing with. Again that is a few
years back so things might have changed.

By now many of the group will have heard the tragic news that Richard
Rothwell took his own life a week last Friday. No-one seems to know
exactly why but he did seem to be becoming depressed about the world in

I think you would be able to negotiate with them. I should think that if
a reasonable person said "this information is needed for this project
and is unlikely to materially damage Capita's business", the need for
fair trade and interoperability will then over-ride what a company
arbitrarily puts in a NDA.
