Writers Log - Thursday 19th March 2009

"Where the blazes have you been?" is probably the most appropriate
quote to open this log with I think!

The answer is I have been busy working, indeed such has been my
(admittedly mostly enjoyable) workload that the amount of time I have
had to write anything has understandably been somewhat limited.

The main result of this is an inevitable delay in future novel
releases.  The first 'Section Fourteen' novel 'Horsham' is still
coming along slowly but now will not be appearing until June or July
at the earliest I would have thought whilst the next Security Novels
series episode is stuck in the queue behind it.

The website will be updated shortly with revised anticipated release
dates as well as new 'Microsoft E-Book' versions of the existing
novels in the downloads section.

One thing I have done is a lot of thinking, particularly about where I
want to take the two combined novel series over the next couple of
years with the first three 'Section Fourteen' novels planned to form a
trilogy story arc which then leads into dramatic events in what I
anticipate will be the last two Security Novels series episodes
(probably numbers nineteen and twenty or thereabouts) in the current
format.

Indeed the closing scenes of the penultimate and opening scenes of the
final episodes are already written but I also have a few tentative
ideas and plans for beyond that point, more of which much later.

For now however, stay tuned...

Regards

John M Upton
