Security Novels Google Group
Writers Log – Monday 20th October 2008
Hello once again.
A quick update to advise you of the progress of things related to the
site and the novels. Work has been a bit hectic of late but this has
not stopped me working on ‘Leytonstone’ to the point where I feel it
is probably about a week or ten days from completion.
The vast majority of the story is now in existence including the
closing scenes, there is just a small gap in between that I am in the
process of completing. All being well it is starting to look like
that it will be ready for publishing online sometime in mid to late
November at the latest.
Attention will then turn to the first ‘Section Fourteen’ novel
‘Horsham’ and also the setting up of a proper website for the spin off
series to match. At some point I may also give the Security Novels
site a bit of a refresh and clear up some of the errors that lurk
within its admittedly too many pages.
There is one change coming up however, novel sixteen in the Security
Series will now be called ‘Euston’ with ‘Baker Street’ now moving on
one place to become the planned seventeenth late in 2009. The website
will be updated shortly to reflect this change of plan which has
partly been brought about by an inspirational ten minutes during which
I wrote three scenes for ‘Euston’ before any part of ‘Baker Street’
even existed!!
Have to go now as I have an appointment with twelve coaches of London
Bridge commuters who need taking safely back to their places of
residence in deepest darkest Sussex, I am sure there is a story line
in that somewhere….
Until next time….
Regards
John M Upton
