Hi,

Bit of a long-shot this one (and nowt to do with CF), but has anyone implemented Oracle Streams?? Having a few issues and there really very little in the way of helpful documentation anywhere.

Mike
--
The University of Edinburgh is a charitable body, registered in
Scotland, with registration number SC005336.

Has anyone upgraded to CF9 yet?
If so, did you buy from Adobe.com, an online store like Amazon,
through a reseller like Fuzzy Orange, or did you have maintenance?
Does everyone know you can get maintenance with ColdFusion?
Maintenance comes in two forms:
2 year Maintenance
Platinum support (annual)
Both entitle you to free upgrades during the maintenance period.

Would anyone be interested in a hands on workshop covering CF9?
Basically a Bring Your Own Laptop (BYOL).
No 1 hour sessions, I'm talking at least a full day of working on some
of the new CF9 features.
This would most likely be in Glasgow or Edinburgh. I certainly am!

I asked a few weeks ago if anyone had seen a coldfusion database query tool.
I found a plugin for ExtJS which basically creates the WHERE statement from
the choices you make (CherryExt). Folks,
Would you prefer a 3 day conference list 2008 next year, or would you
prefer us to improve on the tour?
The reason for the tour this year was quite simply the economy, and we
know it wasn't perfect. And now that we're looking at 2010 we need to
know if you guys (well your bosses) would pay for you to come to 3

 Hi Folks,

Just in case you haven't seen this yet, there's a security vulnerability in
the CF801 updater:
[link]

Some genius at adobe decided to enable file uploads by default in the
embedded fckeditor. Hi Folks,

My hosting woes never seem to go away. We've just discovered how the
'burstable ram' smallprint on a VPS can cause coldfusion to go down at
random, if they oversell the box.

We're looking to shift the site asap now, but until that happens, we need an
early warning system.

I need something that will check a page every 5 minutes, and email/sms me if

var scoping question now

the var scoper is giving me some that I know I have done, will this be
because of a difference in the data type?

e.g
I have var docType = 0;

most of the time this is returned as an ID, however, in one of my
error checks I return a string in there instead. Would this be why the
var scoper tells me it is not done?

Getting odd errors coming up on the new SFA site. They are all from
all different queries and seem fairly random. When you refresh the
page, it's fine. The error is that the variable is not defined even
though I have checked the query recordcount first and I know that they
exist.

Not happening with particular queries either - they all work pretty
