  Remember that there is NO direct upgrade form path from 6.1 to 9 - you &lt;br&gt; will need to do a brand new install. &lt;br&gt; &lt;p&gt;If you&#39;ve kept your maintenance active then you should have CF7/8 &lt;br&gt; licenses kicking about so you could upgrade from 6.1 to 7/8 and then &lt;br&gt; upgrade to 9. &lt;br&gt; &lt;p&gt;(I don&#39;t encourage upgrades though, just to confuse you!).

  Used Hostek / Hostfolio with a couple of sites. &lt;br&gt; Pretty reliable and great turnaround on support but their shared hosting &lt;br&gt; servers can get a bit heavy at times. I guess $40 a year is attractive &lt;br&gt; to a lot of people but all good as long as you don&#39;t run any heavy &lt;br&gt; scripts on them. &lt;br&gt; Cheers, &lt;br&gt; James

  Never been down that route, and its not actually for me. I need something that a non-techie can set up/maintain if I&#39;m not about. &lt;br&gt; &lt;p&gt;Its to replace an existing hosting as the company currently being used is dropping CF, cfmxhosting.co.uk (Alan&#39;s suggestion) could be useful as I know that my mate has PHP hosting as well and it might be more cost effective to pull them together into a single reseller account.

  I haven&#39;t used shared hosting for several years now. Dedicated, VPS and &lt;br&gt; cloud hosting are all relatively cheap and give you full control over the &lt;br&gt; (virtual) box. &lt;br&gt; Only downside is that you need a CF license.
