I have a pending message from an Indian outsourcing company.

Its actually reasonably well written and not your usual junk email.

Is anyone interested in seeing this kind of post if they come through?

Stephen

We're getting a ridiculous amount of phone calls from Indian companies
about outsourcing just now, and I for one DON'T want to see these
sorts of posts. They're not going to to invest in the UG in any shape
or form other than saying "lets be partners by you giving us work".

So a definite no from me.

I was speaking to someone recently who outsourced a lot of development work
to India. I won't knock the business model, as I'm sure it can be quite
profitable.
However, I like to do development myself, because that's the fun part of my
job. While I might make more money outsourcing stuff, I'd just be an
administrator.

There is nothing wrong with signing up to http://
www.yourmaninindia.com/ and getting them to do boring Jobs :)
Especially if they can do it while you are asleep.

The only outsourcing that should be happening if anything is Giving UK
(Before I get flamed mainly Scottish) based Companies the work (Ok
before he kicks my Arse: Mainly Fuzzy Orange :D )

But I'd agree if anyone did want to outsource then they will find
someone themselves as you want to be selective when it comes to your
business.
