Subject: CF Hands on Workshop
Would anyone be interested in a hands on workshop covering CF9?
Basically a Bring Your Own Laptop (BYOL).

No 1 hour sessions, I'm talking at least a full day of working on some
of the new CF9 features.

This would most likely be in Glasgow or Edinburgh. If there's enough
interest in Aberdeen (I'd need a minimum of 7 people) then we can also
look there.

I'd be interested, but finding the time might prove hard. This always seems
to be a busy time of year.

When did you have in mind?

Sounds great - I'd be interested. Code along session?
I agree with Gareth about it being busy just now ... I would even say
January if it's possible?

cheers

To be honest, it's January at the earliest I'm thinking about too -
we're stupidly busy as well

Yep, I'd be up for a BYOL day in Edinburgh in January (holidays
permitting). I've been so busy that most of the CF9 launch has passed
me by and I want to know what I'm missing.

Cheers, Ant

Yep, sounds a great opportunity, thanks.

Jan 2010 works for me, before the 21st best.

7 people minimum, eh! I'm up for the challenge :-). What's the situation with software? We expected to have it installed before hand? Might be able to get a room booked at RGU if that helps ;-). Let me know dates that suit and i'll round ppl up.

Cheers
James

I've managed to get the numbers for the Aberdeen one up to 5-6 with a
few more I'm waiting to hear back from still.

Is there anyone in the group that would be interested in coming to
this one rather than Glasgow / Edinburgh? I'm thinking Dundee area or
anyone else in Aberdeen I might have forgotten? Maybe even further
north!

Cheers,
James

That's excellent news ... just need to work on a venue now.

The cheaper the better as we won't be charging for the workshops :)

Probably our training room, so free ;-). Might see if we can get some
food / drinks in as well but don't quote me on that one.

Firm up dates once I've got a definite number of ppl.
