Would anyone be interested in a hands on workshop covering CF9? Basically a Bring Your Own Laptop (BYOL).
No 1 hour sessions, I'm talking at least a full day of working on some of the new CF9 features.
This would most likely be in Glasgow or Edinburgh. If there's enough interest in Aberdeen (I'd need a minimum of 7 people) then we can also look there.

Yep, I'd be up for a BYOL day in Edinburgh in January (holidays
permitting). I've been so busy that most of the CF9 launch has passed
me by and I want to know what I'm missing.

7 people minimum, eh! I'm up for the challenge :-). What's the situation with software? We expected to have it installed before hand? Might be able to get a room booked at RGU if that helps ;-). Let me know dates that suit and i'll round ppl up.

Yep... If I can persuade work...
Definitely worthwhile, I was messing with hibernate I CF9 today. Very
impressed so far (after I discovered ormreload ), but there's never enough
time in the day to go through it all, so a session like this would be ideal.

I've managed to get the numbers for the Aberdeen one up to 5-6 with a
few more I'm waiting to hear back from still.
Is there anyone in the group that would be interested in coming to
this one rather than Glasgow / Edinburgh? I'm thinking Dundee area or
anyone else in Aberdeen I might have forgotten? Maybe even further
north!

Probably our training room, so free ;-). Might see if we can get some
food / drinks in as well but don't quote me on that one.
Firm up dates once I've got a definite number of ppl.

That's excellent news ... just need to work on a venue now.
The cheaper the better as we won't be charging for the workshops :)
