scim-python broken under ubuntu 9.04

scim-python 在ubuntu9.04中的源中的包裹是broken的（不知道是我们自己包的包
裹还是ubuntu官方）
ray@ray-laptop:~$ apt-cache search scim-python

编译安装了scim-python以后，scim配置里面没有相应菜单项

这里的菜单，我只有最左边的英文助手，是否我漏掉了什么呢？
我下载的是0.1.13rc1，make install中没有遇到什么问题。系统是debian lenny

Hi, I got this problem too.

guess you miss the "--prefix=/usr" while configuring

./configure --prefix=/usr

after correct this, I actived scim-python.

I've installed python-scim 0.1.12-1.

I think it is a problem of SCIM. Could you use other input methods in
Chinese firefox?

when my input is in Chinese,firefox cann't work.It can't be
loaded.while in English firefox
works.

词库中pinyin_phrase表的s0, s1, s2, s3四个字段是干什么用的？
